Marcello Durante is a lawyer admitted to the Bar of Lecce. His professional activities also extend to screenwriting and teaching creative writing. He is a professor of Screenwriting for Comics, Copyright Law, and Ethical and Responsible Use of AI in teaching practice.

Co-author of the essay Garth Ennis: Nessuna pietà agli eroi (Edizioni XII, 2010), he was a leading contributor to Comicsblog.it, a publication of the Blogo.it journalistic network. During his professional blogging career, he interviewed cinema and TV series celebrities (Denise Gough, Diego Luna, Erin Kellyman, Victor Webster) and artists such as Milo Manara, James O’Barr, Roberto Recchioni, Alessandro Bilotta, and Luca Tiraboschi.

He is the founder and curator of film information and entertainment websites: Star Wars News Italia (starwarsnews.it) and Hype Mood (hypemood.it). He also collaborates with Corner Tv (cornertv.it), a website that covers sports topics.
